The location is super nice, right next to the beach with pretty views. There's a chill garden and pool to relax in. Good beach cafes nearby. Breakfast is really tasty, especially the fresh fruit. Staff are friendly and most can chat in english.
the trains passing by every now and then can be annoying, and some parts of the hotel felt outdated.

Overall a very enjoyable stay for three nights. Clean property with very friendly staff. Early check-in, parking onsite. Excellent pool.
Wi-Fi was very poor.

beautiful view of ocean, attractive private garden, access to beach cafes
The rooms needed serious updates!!! Old carpets felt damp and smelly, while the pool water was filthy, full of debris. The air-conditioning units produced excessive noise. Addressing these issues could significantly enhance the experience!!!

The beach facing rooms bring the wildness of the ocean yet also display its serene nature, the winds violent yet calm in the evenings soothe your nerves and the brilliant sunset can bring a dead man alive
Though the train line running just besides the hotel adds to the picturesque dotting this hotel, its a bit noisy in the night

Apart from the good location i thought the hotel standard rooms were a mockery of people who wanted to save a little by not selecting the deluxe rooms. Absolutely insulting.
Staff were not to the brightest. But of course it comes with the whole package of truly a buget hotel experience.

Cracking spot! Staff were dead friendly, and the views from the room? Bleedin' amazing! But the grub, mate, could do with a bit more zing, we had a right old wait for it at dinner.

Location near many relaxing restaurants to frequent. For shots visit Lobby Lounge and Bar, nestled within 10 minutes' walk of the hotel👌

It says its a beach hotel while it does not even have a private beach or access. All one has is a railway track behind you not letting you even sleep peacefully...Pool is very dirty..staff is incompetent..dont get you small things after repeatedly requesting and dont even bother to get back...while we were out someone came to the room and spoilt the bed & bathroom and on asking the reception they dont get back...

Did not get the deluxe room I booked, it lacked the facilities I wanted that were included in the deluxe room and no one was bothered. Problems discussed with various 'managers' every day, no one knew what was discussed the previous day. Promises to deal with problems never actioned. Mini bar not restocked at all so ran out of water. Noisy, must be the worst hotel I have stayed in for noise. First the trains which ran every 15 minutes or so from about 4.45am until 11.00pm thundered past, virtually in the garden making the whole building shudder, and the blast of horns as they approached a crossing You had sto stop a conversation it was so loud. The music from the bar across from the railway lines was booming until early hours. If that failed to keep you awake the constant banging of doors echoing along the corridor would succeed! Room service food ( Sri Lankan beef curry) was so tough could not eat it, but despite being told I would not be charged, the item was still on my bill when I checked out. I also gave a list of items used from my mini bar two days prior to check out ( in the hope it may be restocked) but these items were not on my bill. They eventually asked me if I had used any items - and I had to pay. No wi fi, had to pay for 2 hours, but only valid for 24 hours, so new log in key required every day. With the cost of the hotel this could have been included. On check out the manager was rude, he said if I wanted the facilities I should have booked a deluxe room and would not reduce my bill. No other manager was available as it was weekend, and none of the other managers I discussed issues with had made any notes, so this manager was not aware I had complained. All in all a very stressful experience and I would avoid this hotel if you possibly can.
